The TexMat Advisory Board has officially launched following a kick-off meeting in June. Comprising 13 leading industry experts from across Europe, the board represents diverse segments of the textile value chain—spanning textile production and online resale to producer responsibility and policy.
The Advisory Board will support the consortium in piloting an automated reuse and reward system for post-consumer textiles in Europe. Members will provide strategic insights, assist in testing and validating the TexMat solution, and help communicate project progress to the wider stakeholder community. To ensure regular collaboration, the consortium will organise Advisory Board meetings at least twice a year, while work area leaders can reach out to individual members on a case-by-case basis for targeted input and collaboration.
